This Ancient Hall was acquired by the Trustees in 1971 and following extensive restoration was opened on 10th June 1972 by Sir Sadler Forster as Headquarters of the Houghton-le-Spri...ng YMCA and dedicated by the Reverend P.G.C. Brett, Rector of Houghton.
