Lady on right with dark specs and hat: Alice Young and husband; she was one of the founders of the Women’s Auxiliary in Houghton;
Behind Mrs Young, lady with hat and specs: Mrs Moore;
Bottom right: Mrs Edwards (June Storey’s mother);
Smiling gent underneath the white hat: Arnold Hood and his wife in a patterned top;
Ladies at front, left: Mrs Bell; and Mrs Plane;
Back left, near winow, gent in dark suit: Mrs Charlotte Storey (known as Dot); and Mr Charles Norman Storey;
Back right, gent with specs and comb-over hair: Name unknown; he was a member of the ‘Ys Men Club’, part of the YMCA movement.
Priest (white collar) centre, back: Father O’Gorman.
