MURDERS IN HOUGHTON-LE-SPRING

We all love Houghton-le-Spring, but our town has a dark side. Many murders have taken place in the streets of Houghton, and this section of the Houghton Heritage Society website looks at a few of the noteworthy historic murders that have occurred.

One of the most noteworthy or often discussed murders is that of the Nylon Stocking Murder with took place in London but involved Donald Davidson, the son of a well known Houghton baker.

If you have photographs, memories or information about this area of research, please get in touch.
