HERITAGE WALKS

There is no better way to take in the historic surrounds of Houghton-le-Spring than to go for a walk around our picturesque town.

In the coming months, Houghton Heritage Society will be featuring a series of heritage walks to encourage residents and visitors alike to explore the local area.

And don't forget to join the Society's annual guided walks - 'The Houghton Heritage Walk' and 'Haunted Houghton' - both of which have been going for many years.

Enjoy the walks and please feel free to print off the Houghton Heritage Trail map on one of the links below - it looks great on coloured paper!
